Using the coherent-potential approximation in heterogeneous-elasticity theory with a log-normal distribution of elastic constants for description Raman spectrum and temperature dependence specific heat, we are able to reconstruct vibrational density states characteristic descriptors heterogeneity wide range glassy materials. These nonaffine contribution shear modulus, mean-square fluctuation local elasticity, its correlation length. They enable physical classification scheme disorder modern, industrially relevant glass We apply our procedure broad real-world compositions, including metallic, oxide, chalcogenide, hybrid, polymer glasses.
